An old out building that was being used as a store and leaking WC in desperate need of modernisation and a decent roof…The only answer was to knock it down and start again which we did.
Demolition to the old building was the first call which didn’t take long as it was timber and sings skin brickwork. The important thing here was the log store side was the neighbours so we had to give her a new brick built covered log store which was in with the remit.
Site cleared and footings dug we could concrete the reinforced raft foundation and get going. Blockwork soon went up but there were a lot of internal blackballs to. Brickwork then followed with the steel spanning the log store for the neighbour.
The roof then could be pitched allowing for 2 skylight velux windows to let light into the new bathroom and store room. Plastic windows were fitted along with the slate roof.
A small project but with the same attention to detail as any larger one.
The clients John and Paula were over the moon with the out come.
